Surrounded by her loving family, Colleen Tracy Harris departed this life at Rhode Island Hospital on December 3, 2024.
Born December 15, 1961 she was the beloved daughter of Beatrice Harris and the late Richard Harris, Sr.
Tracy was educated in the Providence Public Schools System having attended Camden Avenue Elementary School, Nathaniel Greene Middle School and Mount Pleasant High School. After graduation she began her lifelong passion for serving her community. Tracy started with various positions as a volunteer and later became a coordinator at the Rudolph Tavares Community Center for 15 years. Most recently she served for 5 years as a food pantry coordinator for Lifespan.
Tracy leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son Daniel Harris, two daughters Danica Harris and Danielle Harris-Rose, son-in-law Vince Rose, her mother Beatrice Harris, two sisters Denise MacKinnon and Debra Harris, brother Richard Harris, Jr., seven grandchildren Da'Najha Harris-Andrade, Vincent Harris, Daniel Rose, Alivia Harris, Deonie Rose, Devin and Avvin Rose, aunt Roxanne Harris-Livingston and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
